Structure and Functioning of the Executive Committee
The Executive Committee comprises the President of the CMSA, the two Vice Presidents, the Chairpersons of the three Standing Committees, the Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Registrars and additional co-opted members. The immediate past President CMSA serves on the Executive for his/her expertise.
Meetings are held when the need arises, but not less than six monthly, to screen the Senate agendas in an attempt to streamline the meetings. Two of these are combined with brainstorming sessions.
Members of the Executive Committee are however in regular telephonic or postal communication regarding important issues that need to be resolved.
