Overview of Buildings and Facilities
The excellent facilities in the buildings of The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) in Cape Town and Johannesburg, consisting of lecture rooms, committee rooms, reception rooms and kitchens, are hired out at a reasonable charge to medical and dental bodies for symposia, seminars, refresher courses and lectures, but the activities are restricted to academic functions. Constituent Colleges of CMSA are not charged for use of the facilities for College meetings and lectures, but charges are levied for the use of the facilities by Colleges for symposia, seminars and refresher courses as these are usually sponsored. The constituent Colleges are encouraged to use the office facilities for their Council and Annual General Meetings.
